Microsoft Helps adCenter Customers Get Help

Getting support for any product is often a painstaking and time consuming ordeal. There are parts of Microsoft that I have personally had such trouble with.

Evidently, contacting the support staff for Microsoft’s adCenter has been a common problem among users. Tina Kellenher at the Microsoft AdCenter Blog says that it’s one of the most frequently asked questions they get. So, she thought it would be a good idea to provide a round-up of all the ways users can obtain assistance from the support team.

First off, starting at the Microsoft AdCenter Blog, you can find a support button in the bottom right hand corner:

Kellenher provides links to email addresses for the following markets that can be used to request support:

She also suggests using the adCenter discussion forum, which is frequented not only by other advertisers, but by Microsoft staff, both of which can potentially help answer your questions.

Finally at the adCenter site itself, there is a link in the footer that says “Contact Support”, and one in the top right corner that says “Help,” which will also get you to the “contact support” link.

Based on Tina’s advice, it sounds like it should not be too hard to get some adCenter help. The real test is how helpful the support staff actually is when users come to them with problems. Hopefully Microsoft has a good handle on this, because Google has a pretty user-friendly help center, not to mention a fair bit of search market share.
