Here's a round up of blog related and other interesting tidbits I picked up over the last few days ....

1. Bloglines blew all others away by a significant margin. To me, this demonstrates the "quiet power" a blog to deliver information about library news, services and resources called Science News. They followed this with BIGresearch, authors of a new book called "When Customers Talk," a companion blog. The book is taken from the responses of over 100,000 shoppers who participated in BIGresearch surveys. The blog will continually provide updated consumer insights and allow marketers to share their ideas and experiences in a unique learning environment driven by the comments of their most valuable asset -- their customers.
2. Wired News Wikipedia is, whether it can be respected by the academic community and how it might change are more important than ever. Many wonder if the project can stay true to its core principles of openness and co-creation.
3. The folks behind the a new site that tracks blogosphere news.
