Blogging Requires Finding Your Voice

Many successful blog writers believe it's necessary to maintain a true voice, where the real person behind the posting, shines through. Becoming more than mere words on a screen, as ephemeral as any ghostly spectre, there is a need to find the human behind the curtain. Australian blogger Heroinegirl of "Whatever you do...Stay true". Heroinegirl believes rightly, that the writer may be very different from the person perceived by the reader. All the reader has, for making an evaluation of the individual, are the words. Even more, that conversation is usually between two people who have never met in person. They are highly unlikely to ever meet outside of the blog. As a result, the only way to present a real portrait of the writer is through honesty. Write what you believe is true, and write from the heart.
