As an artificial intelligence developed by OpenAI, ChatGPT has been playing a pivotal role in many coding environments. Recently, however, some developers have reported a degradation in its performance, particularly in complex Python coding projects.
context memory, a critical aspect of any AI's function. Despite accepting larger input codes without complaint, ChatGPT no longer seems to acknowledge the latter parts of the code, causing issues in code implementation.
Equally alarming is the AI's increasing tendency to "hallucinate," or introduce unnecessary additions to the code that don't align with the developers' goals. This unwanted intrusion on the AI's part is disconcerting and disrupts the smooth execution of projects.
