Evri Gives A Peek At Data Graph

The firm once known as Hypertext Solutions began allowing people to take a look at its take on natural language and search.

Evri's demo offers a look at popular people, places, and things. Click on someone in the list and Evri draws a graph of people connected to the subject. Clicking on a connected person reveals the top articles connecting the two people, like Michael Bloomberg and Barack Obama

Each topic area also shows a list of rising and falling search terms. Managua and Khartoum top the rising list for places, while Mattel rates among the list of falling things.

Items that make Evri's lists also have links to full profiles of information about them. The profiles will look familiar, as they come from online reference Wikipedia. If media like videos are available for the topic, they can be accessed from the profile page.

These profiles also provide terms people may click to find a focus on a topic of interest. When found, Evri displays the top ten news articles it found with a connection between the subject and the topic.

We like the clean utility of Ezri, but there wasn't an opportunity yet to try out its search functionality. That will be the real proof of Ezir's natural language proposition.
