Google Further Customizes the News Experience

Google has launched a new Google News feature called the
"Now, if you're using Google News and can't find the perfect section, just create your own! You can do that by adding the relevant keywords," Google adds. "Then, if you are happy with the resulting section, you can publish it to a directory so others can benefit."

There are already 26 pages of custom sections in the directory. Topics are as diverse as Food Safety, Asian Business News, Brain Science, Lindsay Lohan, and Fashion.

Right now, Google News users in Australia, Canada, India, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States can use the feature, but Google says it plans to expand it soon.
