49 organizations mentoring student developers who want to work together on some cool open source projects. Last year, over 400 students participated, and there was reportedly a huge amount of applications for the stipends and the opportunity to work with some great organizations. This year, mentoring organizations include Apache, Creative Commons, Gaim, Jabber, PHP, Wikimedia, and Google itself.
