Jen Mazzon today confirmed on the Google Blog rumors of Google acquiring the online word processing service Writely.com. As part of the Upstartle startup, Mazzon served as vice-president of marketing. Her marketing efforts proved successful as the purchase of the collaborative word processor. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. The joy at joining the search advertising company, however, was very much disclosed by Mazzon in her post.
