The IBM Omnifind Yahoo Edition enterprise search product received some tweaks and improvements to its functionality. Unfortunately, a less unwieldy name was not among the feature list as described by IBM in its announcement of the update. It's still called OmniFind push API allows searchers to perform queries specifically including metadata they choose.
Installation on Windows platforms should go more smoothly as the product may be put in place as a Windows service. IBM also said they have cleaned up search accuracy by supporting better near-duplicate detection and removal from OmniFind search results.Suggest a Correction
