Yesterday accounting firm KPMG LLP issued a statement claiming total responsibility for the illegal practices of some of the firm's former partners. The practices spoken of include offering tax shelter services. The Department of Justice is now investigating this. They are going after KPMG for obstruction of justice and selling abusive tax shelters.
