McDonald's will be sponsoring a variety of free song downloads, and will have a presence on the MySpace Music personal music player. Sony Pictures will be hyping up the upcoming film "Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist" appropriately by skinning MySpace Music user profile playlists. State Farm will appear on a variety of aspects of the site in rotation in the "featured playlist," the personal music player, and the "MyMusic" section where members can create and edit their own playlists.
Toyota's approach will be a bit different with "Toyota Tuesdays" where the company will offer free downloads and have ads featured on the personal music player on Tuesdays for an entire year. The company will also be featured on the "Featured Playlist" page.
