Oil prices continue the surge today as light sweet crude came within 10 cents of $57 a barrel. The prices continue to edge toward the all time high set back in early April clearing the $58 mark and most watchers say cracking $60 is only a matter of time. The light crude climbed over a dollar a barrel and the Brent crude in London was up 98 cents to $56.22. Gas is starting the climb in trades too, up 3 cents to $1.60 a gallon. The price at the pumps will certainly follow.
