Opera Widgetize attempts to encourage more of its browser users to create little applications, or widgets, with a few mouse clicks instead of lengthy coding sessions.
A three-step process makes it easy for any Opera Widgetize! site provides the starting point for building a feed reader widget.
In the first step, the user can pick either the Classic style or the Advanced feature widget by clicking the radio button next to the desired choice. I picked the Advanced option and clicked over to step two, where I can name my widget (murdok Insider Reports) and assign a data feed to the widget.
Then I have the option of choosing a skin for the widget. The UFO theme appealed to me, so a radio button click there made that skin part of my widget. A preview of each theme appears on the page, so users can see how their widgets will look.
