Paint Shop Pro offers a powerful 3‑D Cutout effect that lets you turn any text into a floating shadow over a background image. To get the best results, start with a photo that has moderate brightness and low contrast; the Paris skyline from ImageKits makes a clean backdrop, but any cityscape, landscape, or even a simple gradient works well.
Open the image in Paint Shop Pro. If you’re working with the skyline, you’ll see a wide expanse of rooftops and a sky that blends from light to dark. Because the background has enough variation, the cutout will stand out without looking harsh.
