The big pharmaceutical concern picks up anti-infective maker Vicuron for $1.9 billion USD. Pfizer made an all cash deal to acquire biotech company Vicuron Pharmaceuticals today. Vicuron develops anti-infectives for both hospital-based and community-acquired infections.
