Troubled Yahoo Europe Hires New Marketing VP

Orange is a huge communications corporation.  Research In Motion is a top wireless device company.  And now Kristof Fahy has moved on from those places of business to Yahoo Europe, where he’ll serve as vice president of marketing.

Remember the Robocop movie in which employees of Omni Consumer Products employees routinely jump out of windows and shoot themselves?  How would you like to work for such a company?  Well, Fahy’s situation isn’t quite that strange, but Yahoo Europe is facing Perhaps Fahy was offered some sort of assurance, or just has enough confidence in himself and his new coworkers that getting laid off isn’t a concern.  In any event, he’s right in the middle of things now.
