Urchin, WebTrends Deals, Now Free NetTracker Lite

Sane Solutions has announced the release of Net Tracker Lite, aimed at the small and low traffic site sector. Much like the Download Net Tracker Lite. From the says that this is likely a direct response to WebTrends breaking free of NetIQ - well, yeah... My suspicion is that had this announcement come last week we would have shrugged and said, "Yeah, that's nice of them to give away software, especially considering their's is a relatively mature application." In the face of the Google and WebTrends announcements, however, I think it's safe to say that a "Googled" Urchin, an autonomous WebTrends and free NetTracker creates a fairly significant change in the overall analytics landscape, hopefully for the better.
