Wolfram Alpha, the computational search platform, has yet to achieve the meteoric rise some predicted. According to data from Compete, as of November, the site was garnering less than 300 thousand unique US visitors. In comparison, Ask.com boasted over 41 million during the same period.
While Wolfram Alpha may not yet be a household name, its unique capabilities position it as a valuable asset in the search industry. As search platforms like Bing begin to see the value in such integration, the future might hold even more partnerships and collaborative ventures for this computational engine.
