After about a decade or so of being pegged against the U.S. dollar at about 8.3 per dollar, China has revalued its currency, the yuan by 2.1%. Pressure from the United States and the European Union has steadily been rising against China as the country continued to have an unfair adavantage in international trade due to its currency being undervalued.
